Greater Erie YFC Back-to-School Bash 2022

The Summit at Erie First Christian Assembly was the site of fun and games on August 9, 2022. Greater Erie Youth for Christ held the annual Back to School Bash for youth ages 11-19. Students not only played games and went on the water slide, but they also had dinner, got a backpack filled with school supplies, and got a free haircut. Over 50 students and volunteers attended this successful event.

Executive Director Jamie Thompson is excited about the turnout for the Back to School Bash. The event was held in order to start building relationships, and the community participation at the Bash did just that. “ We are forming these connections so that when the students need help and support, they know that Greater Erie Youth for Christ is here to do that.”
